We have an ongoing training programme to ensure all of our staff are fully trained in all aspects of their work to ensure they work safely and efficiently.
All staff are trained in all aspects of Health & Safety. All attain CSCS cards, and are regularly refreshed in first aid.
Trade specific skills are supported internally and externally, with all site supervisors being responsible for continuous staff development.
Similarly, training is carried out for all types of machinery used within our industry and each individuals specific role.
All records are held on a training matrix which is kept up to date with refresher courses arranged to ensure staffs knowledge & training are always up to date.
We are committed to sustainability and to the next generation. We actively support anyone with an interest in working in the outdoor environment and currently we have 3 apprentices training within our ranks.
Two of the current management team, both being under 27, are testament to the MDs vision of supporting younger staff and giving local people opportunities to further their career.
We also encourage all staff to widen their plant knowledge and embrace their environment and the MD runs voluntary horticultural classes. It is imperative that our workforce have an understanding of our interaction with our environment and the ways in which we, as landscapers, can have a positive impact AND contribute to the well being of our landscapes.
